“I‘m dating a woman with one leg. She‘s a waitress... she works at IHOP.“

“They just came out with a new Elvis stamp to commemorate the later years... it‘s a food stamp.“

Chance Langton is the kind of comedian that reminds you of a time when funny was simple. Call it ‘classic style,‘ but Langton is a classic, so it‘s simply his style. That‘s the kind of guy he is. His comedy album “I‘M BETTER THAN THEM“ is comprised of hilarious deadpan deliveries and smart musical parodies.

The first twenty minutes was recorded live at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord, NH. Punchline after punchline the audience is rolling as he shares with us how he lives next door to an Asian liquor store called “Thai One On,“ that congress is considering legalizing marijuana in a joint session, and about how he went to a psychic that wouldn‘t tell his fortune because she knew he wouldn‘t pay - that‘s just the kind of guy he is.

He is also an accomplished musician. And when he picks up the guitar the act gets even funnier. Only a good guitar player can parody the musical stylings of the greats and Chance does it with ease. The last four tracks on the album are comedy songs that were recorded in the studio. His song “I‘m Better Than Them“ is heard nationally on Dr. Demento and Sirius Comedy Radio.

Langton is a nationally known comedian, musician, actor, and writer. Over the past thirty years he has headlined at top comedy clubs across the country. In addition, he has appeared in concert with Rodney Dangerfield, Jay Leno, Eddie Murphy, and other well-known acts.

His numerous national television credits include appearances on ABC, NBC, Fox, Showtime, and A& E on such shows as “Comic Strip Live“ and “Comedy on the Road.“ He has appeared in the movies, “House Party 2,“ “The Complex World,“ and the animated film “8 Crazy Nights,“ starring Adam Sandler.

Langton is a classic act who mines his well crafted material and delivery from life‘s little baffling incongruities. Because that‘s just the kind of guy he is.
