“When I grow up... I want to be a stay at home step-dad.“

“I had a cougar ask me, do you have money? - If I had money I‘d be talking to women my own age.“

From the press - “Despite his youth, Gleeson is a natural comedian, able to poke fun at life‘s banalities with the best of them.“

Most of us grow up with our parents telling us that we‘re special and encouraging us to strive for excellence. Rob Gleeson didn‘t have far to reach because he‘s already an excellent normal guy. He‘s one of those guys who is genuinely funny that you just like being around. On his debut comedy album, GETTING NORMAL, he makes us laugh with his disarming wit and straightforward observations about some very ‘normal‘ things we never realized were funny.

For example: You‘d never think a homeless person would have that much in common with a cat, but if either one scratches you, you‘re going to need a tetanus shot. If you see a man driving a station wagon, it‘s the same thing as him wearing a fanny pack. He goes on to tell us that Menorah would be a cool name for a hoochie mama. He also measures the ocean and explains why the contents of his own fanny pack as a kid always included bologna and batteries.

Currently the head writer for a new web based talk/sketch show being produced by Tom Hanks staring Barry Sobel and Fred Willard, Gleeson is a young talent quickly on-the-rise. At the age of 18 he began performing stand-up in Denver. Before he was old enough to legally be allowed into the Denver clubs, Gleeson was a fixture on their stages.

L.A.‘s Buzzine Magazine called Rob “a natural comedian.“ He‘s worked with some of today‘s biggest touring acts including John Pinette, Jim Breuer, and Loni Love. Currently, and is in development on several television projects.

Winner of the New Faces Contest at the prestigious 2010 Laughing Skull Comedy Festival, Rob has performed all over the country as a nationally touring comedian. He is a favorite among college students, who delight at seeing one of their own on the stage.

He has also been heard on radio stations in over 30 states. He was a guest host on the nationally syndicated Pop Culture Minute and was a featured comedian on New York City‘s famous Joey Reynolds Radio Show.
